God Will Help Us by Pastor Claude Whittaker (LIVE SERMON)
Amen. And amen. And y'all know the story. I'm not gonna labor on the story of uh the book of Nehemiah. Nehemiah the name means a God who comforts. God comforts his people. And the God uh used Nehemiah. Nehemiah uh had uh a burden for the people. Nehemiah had the spirit of a builder. Now, when you when you're building God should be centered in everything that we do. When we make choices and decisions over our life, God should be the one we're making choices and decisions with. Is this moving me closer to God or pulling me further away from God? Is this building upon my foundation with God? Or is this taking away from my foundation with God? The builder that Nehemiah was, a Nehemiah God who conferenced, was in a time when uh Jeremiah prophesied of the destruction of Jerusalem and the carrying away of 70 years in the Babylonian captivity. As uh Nehemiah, the Bible says, was the king's cup barrier. Nehemiah uh, in all instances, had it made, and at the same time he was doomed. Because every time that the king got something to drink, Nehemiah was the first one that had to drink the drink or taste the food. And so if it was poison, he would die. He was the king's cup bearer. And Nehemiah uh was in a palace, and he had it made to a certain extent because he wasn't treated as the rest of the captives were treated. He made it to the palace. But just because he was in a palace, he didn't lose, he didn't lose his compassion and his concern for the people of God. Amen. He was a builder. One of the number one, number one uh characteristics of a builder is that they are concerned. They're concerned, and you should be concerned about the people and concerned about the situations that are at hand. And the Bible said he was concerned, and he asked some men about it. He asked them about what happened to the people who are of captivity. And uh they said, the remnant that are left in the walls of Jerusalem are broken down, and the gates are burning with fire. And uh and it came to pass when he heard these words that Nehemiah, I mean Nehemiah chapter 1, brother Mike, and verse number four. And he heard it came to pass when he heard these words, he sat down and he wept. And he mourned certain days and fasted, and he prayed before the God of heaven. So he was a builder, he was concerned not only about his life, but the lives of others. Uh too much the church used to be concerned about one another, and we don't never want to lose that concern about one another. Uh he was a builder and uh he he did some things here. The Bible says he was concerned and he asked questions, and uh uh but there's there's a s there's some folk that you can be concerned about, but they don't want you to be concerned about that. There's some folk that have this mentality that they don't need anybody that they can do things on their own. There's certain folk that they deem when you show them compassion and concern, to them they seem vulnerable and weak. And rather than get the help that they really need, they want the facade that they okay. But really, if you have any type of discernment, you know that they're not really okay. Y'all just hold on for a moment. I'm just I'm just talking. Y'all just hold on for a moment because pride is a terrible thing. Yes, it is true. Folk know that they need something from God and know that they don't have the fortitude. The devil took away their fortitude from them to seek God on their own. They rather revel in it than go and spend some time on their needs. They need somebody to help them. Yes, but you can't get help unless you ask for help. I'm I'm not so prideful that I don't know that I need the Lord every day, every moment, and every second. I need God to help me. Anybody need God to help you? I need the Lord. I need the Lord. I need the Lord right now, and I need the Lord in everything that I do, I need God. Anybody need God in everything that I do, I need God. So he he he was concerned, and the Bible says that when he heard what was going on with the people, he wept. And he mourned, and uh certain days he was sad at the condition that was going on. One thing about condition is that some folk can be in a horrible condition and are the last ones to know it.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna show you in a minute. I'm gonna show you. And uh the condition they get accustomed to it. And uh, when they get accustomed to it, they they don't really know that they're drowning. A person know that they're drowning uh will make a noise, they'll slap the water. Can you imagine a prideful person drowning and they how many of y'all in here can swim? Okay, how many on here cannot swim? And so if you fell in the water, you would be doing what? Hollering. Yep, help, help, help, help, yep, yep. Because you can't drink all that water. Yep, help, help, help, help, help, help, help, help. You lose you lose your pride, and and then then when they came and throwed you something to rescue, you still be hollering on the boat. And they say, ma'am, sir, sir, sir, we're on the boat now. We're gonna say that. And then when you got to shore and you saw people, I wasn't worried. I know I was all right. That's our church, folks. Drowning in your situation, knowing that you need help, but won't open your mouth and ask God to help you get over this thing, help God help you to bless you, help God help you along the way. And so he he prayed to the God of heaven about the condition of the people, and he prayed to God and he reminded God in verse number five I beseech thee, oh Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God. The great and terrible God that keeps covenant. You are covenant-keeping God. I want you to know that the God that you serve, the God that you serve hates divorce. The God that you serve is married to a backslider. The God that you serve is a covenant-keeping God. God doesn't break his covenant, the people break their covenant with God. But God is so merciful, even when you break your covenant with God. If you'll turn back to God, God will grab a hold of you, and God will be married to you, and he will wipe away your tears, and God will embrace you and love you. He's a covenant keeper. Like some of us, amen. Promise the Lord when we wanted the Holy Ghost. God, if you fill me with the Holy Ghost, God, if you save me, God, if you open up a door for me, God, I'll serve you, God, I'll do what you want me to do. God, my life will be your life. And God, I'll run after you, God, and I'll turn away and turn to you, God. In the moment, God bless you, and two or three months go by. You forget about your covenant promise that you made to God, and now you're chasing after something else in the name of the Lord. But God is a covenant keeper. Uh God, God won't allow you to get too far when He starts to pull on you and pull you back. He keeps His covenant throughout all generations. He said, The sun shall not stop shining until I keep my covenant with my people. God is a covenant-keeping God. Yes, he's a covenant-keeping God. So he prayed to him. This builder did. Mentality of a builder. And he asked God about the people. Asked God to give him favor with the king. God would later give him favor with the king. So he could come and see about the people. One thing that I love about Nehemiah is that uh uh he had the spirit of to build, not to tear things out. Some folk have the spirit of tearing stuff down, and uh and every time they get their hands on something, they tear something down. Uh uh, that's why you gotta be careful who you let work on your stuff. And uh and uh they touch your stuff and they tear it up. They don't have that building stuff in their hands, and you keep going back to them, allowing them to tear your stuff down. He was a builder. You ever you ever had somebody that you knew that was your partner and you said, Well, you know, this will save me a little bit of money, and I'm gonna let them work on my car? And they worked on your car, and then they called you and said, Uh well, the transmission piece here, and I can't put that back together, and you're gonna have to take that somewhere else. And you think, My God, why not just take my car to somebody that knew what they were doing, amen, and so they can stop tearing my stuff up. And sometimes you got to give up a little bit of money to get what you need to get fixed, instead of letting folk just tear your stuff up. You got to get to the source where your help comes from, and your help come from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Stop let jackle's work on you, stop let self-help groups work on you. Just put yourself in the presence of the Lord and let the Lord help you make a way out of what you can't make a way out. Somebody say hallelujah. Yes, yes, the jack leg go. It cost you more money, more problems, more problems. Now you're scratching your head. I should not let them mess my stuff up. They tore it up last time. A builder is a person who has a prayer life, a person who's concerned, a person that has a relationship with God, a person that knows about God, that know who God is and what God means to them. They can build. You can't build anything outside of a relationship with God. The Bible says, they that build a city, they they labor in vain, except the Lord be in it. Anything we build, if God's not in it, is in vain. A builder, think about a builder. A builder can see. A builder has sat down and counted up the cost. A builder knows who to trust. A builder has a heart for God and the people of God. Some folk don't have a heart for God's people. Some folk don't care. But a builder cares. Remember now, we'll build upon the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Every man must take caution how he builds upon that which is already laid. Whether he builds stubble or hay, it's all gonna be tried by fire. You've got to be careful how you build. But a builder knows, builder knows how to use a level, builder knows how to use a ruler, builder knows how to use a circular saw, knows how to use a nail gun. A builder knows how to put in electricity or knows how to build from the ground up. A builder knows you got to have somebody that's building something that knows what they're doing. Yeah, every marriage must be built upon somebody that knows what they're doing. Every business you build must be built upon somebody that know what they're doing. Everything that you build, God has to be in it. Hallelujah. Every family that's being built, God must be the centerpiece of the family, God must be in it. Every ministry that's being built, God has to be in the center of it. He must be the foundation of what's being built. Yes. Yes, yes. I got about 20 minutes. Amen. The book of Isaiah, chapter 61, and verse 1. Amen. Y'all know this verse, it's a very, very familiar verse. Amen. It talks about the builder. Everybody that has the Holy Ghost should have a builder's mentality. Everybody that has the Holy Ghost claim that they got God to be a builder. You should be a builder because the Spirit of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord, God is upon me. Prophetic utterance about Christ. So he deals with the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost. And uh the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings. And uh, if God isn't anointing you, then your preaching is in vain. God has anointed me. And because God has anointed me to preach tiding unto the meek. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, uh, to proclaim liberty to the captive, those are in captive with sin, those are in captive with the lies of the enemy. It is the anointing that destroys the yoke, and uh to open up the prison to them that are bound. That's what the anointing does bring us out of prison. Some of us were in prison, but the power of God brought us out of our prison to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God, and to comfort all that mourn. Verse number three to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy, for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that we might be called the trees of righteousness, the planet of the Lord, that he may be glorified. So that spirit gives us the ability, God's anointing, to do these things without God being in it. We have no ability of our own to do any of this. It is God now. Most preachers stop at verse number three, and the people shout and the oil of joy, and and the trees of righteousness, and that we might be called the planning of the Lord. And then y'all run around the church, hoop and holler, ooh, and all that, but they miss verse number four. And they shall build the old waste places. So the spirit of the Lord is not just to set people free, the spirit of the Lord is also to make you a builder and not a person that tears things down. What are we a building, preacher? Build the old waste places. You should go back and build up that which was a waste. They should raise up the former desolation, they should repair the waste and the of many generations. So when God gives you the Holy Ghost and God gives you his anointing, he makes you a builder and a repairer. And you should be able to take that anointing back through generations and take what the devil tried to destroy and build it back up again. That's what the anointing is for. The anointing is for to build the lives of people to your generation and your families. That's what the anointing is for. It's not just to shout and holler and hoop, it's also to build. And when folk don't know what the anointing is for, then generation curses remain. People can't get set free because they think they relegate the Holy Ghost to a just a goosebump or feeling good. But the Holy Ghost is worth so much more. Tell somebody it's so much more. You can go back and you can build the spirit of the builder. The apostle Paul says that if I build against that thing that I destroy, then I become a transgressor. In other words, if God had destroyed some things in our lives, then we go right back and build up the very thing that God has destroyed. Then we make ourselves a transgressor. We got to make sure that we're building on holiness, on righteousness, that we're building on the things of God. We can't just build any kind of way. They're trying to throw holiness out of the church. But as long as I'm preaching, I preach holiness. Holiness is right. Holiness without no man shall see the Lord. You just can't do anything or do any way. You've got to live like God tell us to live. Holiness is right all by itself. Hallelujah. God set us up to build. You can build through your generation. If you get the Holy Ghost, our whole families were alcoholics and drunks and druggers. But you've got the ability by the Spirit of God not to turn and act like them, but to tell them about how God can change their life. Because God changed your life. You are builder. Not gonna turn them down. We're to build up our families. We're about to build up one another. I'm about to build up my wife, my wife, I'm about to build me up. You might not have to be making excuses. Oh, I'm a building, I'm gonna build them in here. I'm a builder. I'm not gonna turn down. Turn down, talks like this. We don't got to do that. We don't have to do all of that. We make our own understanding. That's the person trying to turn down the work of God. But the person is forgotten and live and forgot and die. And I'll do what it takes to keep the kingdom of God moving forward. I'll do I'm a sacrifice because I'm a builder. The problem with the church is that everybody wants the neck of God, and everybody wants the hammer, but nobody wants to do the work. When you're building something, when you're building something, you know how to treat people, you know how to act, you know about authority, how to respect authority when you're building something. Everybody don't have the blueprint. Can you imagine the laborers got the blueprint? They got the circle of songs, they got the blueprint, they ain't doing the cutout work. No, no, no. You're taking the stuff to the trash, taking the stuff to the dumpster just important as the person with the nail gun. Tell somebody you got to stay in your lane. You got to know who you are, and above all things, you got to know that you're a part of the building process. Hallelujah. We are labor together, we are labors together. We are labor together. What you do is important to the effects of the ministry on other people. I'm trying to tell you. We got to make sure that we're building together. That's unity, that's unity, but there's always somebody trying to fight against unity. Because where there's unity, there's strength, and where there's not unity, there's confusion in every evil work. But I'm gonna work with folk who know who's in the number. I know that I must decrease. And Jesus must increase. And as long as Jesus is increasing, he's getting the glory. Somebody give the Lord a hand and clap of praise. So Nehemiah is a builder. And he builds according to what God has put in his heart for the people. He builds with God first. He goes to God and God gives him favor with the king. You'll find that in chapter number two of the book of Nehemiah. And God gives him favor. Chapter two, Brother Mike. We'll start at verse number nine. And uh he allowed him to go uh get wood so he could rebuild that which was torn down. I wonder if him I got the spirit of the builder. It's only what we're building on for God that matters. You can build your life in this world, you're gonna come crashing down. It's only what we prioritize before God that matters. It's only the concern that we have for the kingdom. That's why sometimes our family members can't get the deliverance that they need. Because we're more concerned about our things than the things of God. There's sometimes that you've got to leave folk behind, that you've got to leave them behind until you can go back and help them. We've got to build ourselves up first. The Bible said on the most holy of faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. That's how we get built up. Getting out on the altar and praying until the Holy Ghost moves on us. Oh God, hallelujah. Yes, I want the Holy Ghost to move on me while I'm praying. That means you got to push past your flesh and get in the spirit. Had a conversation. You don't have to be in tongues every five minutes. Once God fills you with the Holy Ghost, the tongues and the everything, you got the Holy Ghost, but every now and then, you got to pray in the spirit. So you can get yourself built up, edified. Hallelujah. You might not have the gift of tongues, but you got to have the prayer language that every now and then the Holy Ghost come on me. That God can build up the things in me that are getting low. And I need to be built up in the power of God. Yes. Build up yourself in the most holy of faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. The Bible says, for we know not what we should even pray for, not even on our own. But the Spirit does by making intercessions with moanings and groanings that cannot be uttered. That means, amen, if they can't be uttered, that means that there's a language that cannot be understood. And sometimes, amen, nothing will come out of your mouth but moanings and yearnings. God, that's praying in the Holy Ghost. Amen. I've been praying and come out of me, groaning and moaning. I don't know what I'm saying, but the Spirit knows what I need. God searches the heart, and He knows what I stand in need of. But you've got to push past your flesh. Hallelujah. Nehemiah gets the approval, Brother Mike. Verse number nine, he said, Then I came to the governor beyond the river and gave them the king's letter. Then the king has sent captains of the army and horsemen with me. But when Sanbal, somebody say Sanbal, the Hornite, and that old Tobiah, the servant of the Anamites, when they heard that I was on a mission, when they heard that I was building something, when they heard it, it grieved them. Whenever you're trying to build something of God, the devil always gets mad. It grieves the devil. Who do you think you are trying to build something? Who do you think you are trying to do something? The Bible said they were they were grieved. It grieved them exceedingly that there was a man come to seek the welfare of the children of Israel. It grieved them. God raised up Nehemiah to be a builder and was concerned about the church. That the man of God is grieved about the condition of the ministry and the church. That's why the scriptures teach us that we got to earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints. There was something that was once delivered to the saint that we got to earnestly contend for. What that means is that we got to stay on point. And we got to make sure that we're building this thing the way the architect said to build it. Hallelujah. The chief architect said to build it. Can't build it upon uh unrighteousness, we can't build it upon lies, it's got to be built upon the truth. Somebody say the truth. The Bible says there was a man come to seek the welfare of the children of Israel. Now, uh Sambalat, Tobiah, and the Arabians, they all represent the devil. And they thought that they had Jerusalem, walls were broken down, the gates were burning with fire, the people were in a bad way. And uh Nehemiah was concerned and made sure that they got to build them back up so they can be protected from the powers of darkness. You know, sometimes building hurts. You got to knock down stuff, you got to pick up the rubbish, you got to carry stuff away, you gotta mortar and fix something, you got to do that. Ask Brother Pedro. He's in that type of work, he hurts every day. He's getting older, he hurts every day. Coming home all hurt, back, hurting neck, hurting arm, hurting. Amen. Sierra got him out there working, work him, Sierra, hurting, hurting like I don't know what. And uh, and uh it takes work, it takes work to get something built. But when something is built, you ever built something? And with the all the hard work that's put into it, when it's finally built, and you sit back and you look at the work of God, it's something to behold, and it gives you a testimony that if God had not been with me, I've been never been able to build. I sit back and I look at my marriage, and I know that if God had not been in my marriage, we wouldn't be able to build anything together. I sit back and I look at my ministry that started with one person. If God wasn't with us, we'd never have any type of ministry. But I want you to know that the Lord is with us. Hallelujah. It's more with us than it is against us in the name of the Lord. If you're building according like the Bible says, listen to me. The Bible says that they were mad because they wanted to check on the welfare of the children of Israel. So he said, I came to Jerusalem, was there three days, and I arose in the night and I had some men with me, a few men. When you're building things, you can't take everybody with you. The worst thing you can do is when you're building something, is hire a whole bunch of people that are lazy and don't want work. You got deadlines to me. You got people that you're working for. I'm working for God. You got things that you want to see done, and the worst thing you can do is hire somebody, don't want to do nothing. Slowing you down, keeping you from achieving the goals that you have set. There's some things I'm switching natural to spiritual, so y'all gonna have to keep up. There's some things that we want to see done that we don't have time to be fooling around waiting for them to be done. All of us are getting older. And what could be done? Let me tell you something. These people got together and they worked. And when you work together, there's nothing that cannot be accomplished if God is in the middle of it. If God is in the middle of it, right? Y'all got stay up with me now. He says, uh, I have a few men with me, and but uh neither told I any man what God had put in my heart to do. I have some folk with me, but I ain't told them what God put in my heart to do. Because oftentimes we tell too many people what God has put in our heart. The Bible says, Guard your heart with all diligence, because out of it flows the issue of life. And so, because the moment you tell somebody what God wants you to build, then some folk get jealous. Some folk will try to stop what God is doing. I want you to know that everybody is not on your side, everybody is not in your corner. There's folk that want to see you fail. There's folk that want to see you fail so they can say, See, I told you so. There's folk that are waiting for you to fail. There are folk that want to see you crash and burn. Crash ain't nothing. They want to see you crash and burn. But there are a few folk that want to see the thing get off the air and start the flow. The best you tell God thank you. There are a few folk that want to see the church be blessed. There are a few folk that want to see the pews full with people. There are a few folk that want to see the family members saved. There are a few folk that want to see the house full of power, anointing, and authority in the name of Jesus. And the best you like to tell God thank you. Yes. Does my heart good when people are calling me coming up with ideas? Oh, Pastor, what do you think about this? Why do you think we should do this? I know that they're invested and rooted in the ministry. Folk that are saying, let's try this, let's do this. What did you think about this, Pastor? I know that you can trust them folk, but there's some folk that will sit down on you. Won't move, won't get involved, and it's not that they're bad people, it's just that they're not spiritual enough to know that the devil is using you at that moment. Oh, glory. I don't want the devil using me. I don't want the devil using me. I want the Lord to use me. How many? I want the Lord to use you. All right, here I come. Here it comes. We just talking. The best part is gonna be this afternoon. Glory. Amen. Amen. Amen. The best part can be this afternoon. This is just this is just the matinee. This is just, I'm just busting up some stuff to get you open to receive what God wants you to say because it's powerful. I'm telling you, God shows me something I want you to wear. Well, let me tell you something. And so, well, Pastor, what'd he show you? What God showed you, you want you in the world. Well, you're gonna have to get it on the tape. That's right, we don't take it. So I don't tell you. So he says, so I didn't tell him what was in my heart. There's some things in my heart that God has shown me that's gonna happen that I want to see happen. And I've not even told it to my wife. There's some things that I know is gonna happen. And I'm just sitting on it. I ain't told nobody but me and God. Nobody but me and God. Me and God. Not that my wife wouldn't promote it and be for it. But you ever told somebody something? And they talked you out of what you told them? Or you ever been happy about something? And you went to somebody and told them, they tell you, I don't know about that, I don't know. Did it get you second guessing what God has put in your heart? But thank be to God. Loose lips sink chips. And some of y'all's lips are too loose. But there's some things you got to just hold on to. He said, I went by the valley and I went by the dragon well and the dung port, and I saw the condition of the gates being consumed with fire. I went to the gate of the fountain and the king's pool, but there was no place for the beast that was set under me. The gate was torn down the walls. And so I got off the beast and I went up by night by the brook, and I viewed the back wall and turned back and entered by the gate of the valley. And so I returned. I saw the condition of what was going on. And the rulers knew not whether I went or what I did. They didn't know what I was doing, they didn't know what I saw, and um neither as I yet told it to the Jews, nor the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that I did the work. I accessed and I saw what was needed, but I kept it to myself. Now it's very important here because everybody, the rulers, the Jews, the priests, the nobles, the rulers, everybody can have work. And then said I unto them, you see the distress that we're in. Now remember, he's in the king palace. But Nehemiah said, You see the condition that we are in. Do you see your condition? And Jerusalem life waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. Now let us build up the wall of Jerusalem that we be no more of reproach. You see our condition? Let us get stronger. Let us build up ourselves. Let us have some protection. Let us get built up so we're not vulnerable any longer. That we have this hedge of protection around us. And in order for us to do that, everybody's gonna have to work. Then I told them that the hand of my God, which was good upon me, as also the king's words that has spoken unto me, and here's what the people said they said, Let us rise up and let us build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work. So the people rose up and they said, Let us build. They understood their condition. They had to put some things aside so that they could build like God wanted them to build. Together. Somebody say together. They had to build together. That word building together is an offense to some people because people can't see themselves outside of themselves. But the moment that you build something for God, then God will do something for you. The concept seems to be not well perceived because the enemy wants everybody thinking about their own selves. The only way we can build is we got to build this thing together. Everybody's got to get their hands dirty, everybody's got to roll up their sleeves, everybody's got to be in the house of God, everybody's got to be together with one mind and one accord, and know that this thing is a spiritual thing that we can all build together. Hallelujah! Yes, yes, yes. If I if I was visiting the church, that's why every person being in the house of God is important because the devil fights people's mind when they come to the house of God to hear truth. And if I came in a church and I was new and I just came in to look, and I came in and I saw about four people in the church, and out of the four people, only one of them was praising God. I would say, Where are the people at? And who wanted to be in here? And I don't see a lane for me, and I wouldn't come back. That's how people think, but we don't think of how important it is for us to be in the house of God. I've got a list of people that come and visit the church, they come and they visit, and they come and they enjoy the service. But for some other reason, whatever reason it may be, they don't come back. A few of them do. Some do some enjoy the service. I talked to your uncle, he said, Man, I'll be back. You like the service. But we've got to make sure that we're building this thing together. This thing here is of the Lord. Whether you believe it or not, this thing here is of God. I didn't sit here and think of me. I'm gonna start a ministry, I'm gonna start. This is of the Lord. This is of the Lord, and the Lord is bringing builders into the house of God. God knows what He's doing, He's building up the ministry. God is bringing people to say, Whatever my hands can do, I'll do it. I want to see souls saved. I want to see people deliver. I can tell right now, when God filled Tremaine with the Holy Ghost, Tremaine is gonna work for God. Yes, because he's thankful. But you got to call on the Lord. I believe when He fills your wife with the Holy Ghost, she told me. She said, I want to do this for the Lord, but I want the Holy Ghost first. That's her priority, getting the Holy Ghost. When I get the Holy Ghost, I'm gonna work for the kingdom of God. Tell somebody I'm a builder, I'm building something here. I'm building something here. I'm thinking about my family down the road. I'm thinking about my siblings down the road. We building something here. The same Holy Ghost that you got here is the same Holy Ghost that can bless your next account, the same Holy Ghost you got when you came here, is the same spirit that can fill those that you know building something. Bible says, Amen. He said, We see your condition. They say, We're gonna build. But somebody say, but when Sam Ballard, I'm sick of that name already. Ain't y'all sick of that name? Ain't y'all sick of that name? It'd be the same folk all the time. That same name coming up. Whenever you're trying to build something, it's always the devil. The same name. The same. Okay. I was giving it happy. The devil. We don't rustle his flesh and blood. It's the devil. Whenever you try to build something, here come the devil Sam Ballad. And the devil Tobiah. His partner ain't crying. The Ammonite and the Gisham Data wake out their rabies now. When they saw we were trying to do The will of God. Then they laughed them to scorn. And they despised us. What is this thing that you're doing? Will you rebel against the king? That's how the devil is. He's the accuser of the brethren. Then that fool didn't know that the king gave them the permission to build that thing. Hallelujah. I want you to know that the king gave me permission to build this thing. Hallelujah. And it don't matter what you think, God has already signed the document. He's already given me the favor. And he's already baptized the first person in the name of Jesus Christ. And I've already had the first person receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. His hand is upon this thing. I've got permission from the king to build.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_03This thing is built upon revelation, upon the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. And the Bible tells me that when you know who Jesus is, he said the gates of hell to not prevail against the church. He didn't say a sale. He said they shouldn't prevail. But they didn't prevail what God is doing. It doesn't matter what the devil thinks. What matters is what I know. And what I know is this. God is more for me than you are against me, devil. God is on my side. If you know that God is on your side, you got to take seven seconds and start blessing the Lord.
SPEAKER_02There's nothing the devil can do to stop you from building. Whether you're building your family, building your business, building a ministry, there's nothing the devil can do to stop you from building. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_03Hallelujah. Yeah. Everybody who the devil's trying to mess with you with low self-esteem. Say, my esteem has already been built up. When the Lord came and saved me from my sin. I know how valuable I am with God. You can't turn down my esteem. My esteem is high. Because God is on my side. Good God Almighty. Hallelujah. These are these are external forces sent by the devil to stop you from building what God wants to be built. There's always outside forces. There are spirits saying, You think you're gonna build Nehemiah? We're gonna write a letter to the king. And we're gonna tell the king that you're rebelling against him. And Nehemiah said, You can write all you want to write. I've got permission from the king. Anybody got permission from the king? I got permission from the king to worship his holy name.
SPEAKER_02I got permission from the king to bless his name at all times.
SPEAKER_03I got permission for the king to build.
SPEAKER_02Yes?
SPEAKER_03Listen to this. They answered him this word. They said unto them, the God of heaven, he will prosper us. Whatever you're trying to do, you external forces. This fool you got with you from Arabia. I don't know where they come from. Whoever you got with your devil, there's more with us than it is with you. And whatever you're trying to do to stop us from building, you can laugh all you want. I remember they laughed. I imagine they were laughing at me when we started with one person. But God is blessed through our ministry. We've got churches in the Philippines, we got two ministries here in Maryland. We got work that we do in the in Puerto Rico. We got work that we do with our pastor up in Canada. We got work that we're gonna do in South America. God is building this thing, and the few folk that you see here is not expectant of what all God is gonna do. Some of your family members are gonna get saved, some of y'all neighbors are gonna get saved, some of y'all loved ones are gonna get saved, but we got to make sure we're building this thing together. They answered them and said, The God of heaven, not you, not me, but the God of heaven. He's gonna make it happen. We're not worried about external forces, we're expecting external forces, but one has to wonder. We're expecting the devil to be the devil, but what happens when the fight comes from internal forces? And we're gonna talk about that this afternoon. Oh God, hallelujah! Because the battle is not just external, the battle is internal, and the moment God gives you something to do, you got to be ready to fight both forces in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. You got to be ready, the devil will use those closer to you to get next to you. What happens when the ones that you're building for, what happens when they don't want to build? The God of heaven will prosper us. Therefore, we his servants will arise and build. Because the servants of the Lord know that God is with them. We know that God is gonna prosper us. He said, But you, devil, have no portion, no right, no memorial in Jerusalem. You're not gonna help us build, we don't need you. We got what we need, we got God. Am I got God in here? God's gonna help us. God's gonna help us. I don't know how you're gonna do it, Pastor. I'm not gonna do it, God's gonna do it. God's gonna do it. Listen to me. Paul says I build again the thing which I destroyed. I make myself a transgression. But I know a God. Am I know a God? I know a God that took two fish and five loaves of bread and fed over about five thousand, not counting women and children. His math don't math like our math. God can take a little and mean a lot in the master's hand. You ain't gotta work for it, you ain't gonna cry for it. God's gonna make it happen in the name of the Lord. I need about two or three of you who really are trusting God. A little in the master's hand is worth much in the name of the Lord. Somebody say hallelujah.
SPEAKER_02We're gonna build it in the name of the Lord, and the Lord is blessing us, and God will continue to bless us.
SPEAKER_03Glory be to God. God is making a way for us. Hallelujah! And God is gonna do something mighty in the days to come.
SPEAKER_02He said, I heard the Lord say, The silver is mine, the gold is mine, the earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof. I don't cattle on a thousand hills.
SPEAKER_03God gonna do it. That's why I praise him. Like I praise him. Hallelujah. I feel a shout right there. Glory, I feel a shout right there. That's why I glorify him. Like I glorify.
SPEAKER_02Let me get off the step because I feel something in my feet. Glory. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_03That's why I lift up the Lord up high. Because God is building this thing, and you can't steal my joy. I got joy bells ringing in my soul. You can't stop me from building what God told me to build. I don't have to wait till the foundation is dug. I don't have to wait till the framework goes up. I can shout on God's word right now. I need three of you that want to shout on the word of God right now. Hallelujah. Yes, I can shout right now. I'm gonna shout. I'm gonna shout. I'm gonna shout and I'm gonna dance right now.
SPEAKER_02I feel something in my feet. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I feel something in my soul. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_03Whether the house is full or not. How shout? Then you can look around like Brother Pedro did years ago. And say, Pastor, you kept saying people are coming to church, people are gonna get saved, people gonna get the Holy Ghost. Now look at it, Pastor, because that's the way I preach, that's the way I believe. Oh God, I'm a builder at heart. I need somebody, three of you, that want to shout with me. Honey, you got you got your shoes off. You gotta shout. Yeah, I gotta praise, I gotta praise, and I gotta let it out. I gotta praise and I gotta let it out. Come on, sister Angie. You want to shout with me? Yeah. I need how many of y'all got a gotta shout? I felt that in the atmosphere. Y'all gotta shout. Come here. We gotta get ready to leave, but come here with real quickly.
SPEAKER_02Let's log arms.
SPEAKER_03This is the wall. This is the wall. Come on, Tremaine. This is the wall. This is the wall. And uh, we don't look like much now.
unknownHallelujah.
SPEAKER_03But the word has already went out. God's gonna build this thing. God's gonna help us to do it. God's gonna cause us to prosper. Oh God, and we already see what God is doing. And hey God, and we're not gonna wait around until it's finished. But we're gonna shout right now unto God for what God is doing.
SPEAKER_02Hallelujah!
SPEAKER_03And we're not gonna let Sembalot. We're not gonna let Tobayah. We're not gonna let external or internal forces stop us from working for God. Oh, where my workers at today. Hallelujah. Now loose that arm and somebody shout under God.
SPEAKER_02Yes, yes, yes, you're a mass, get a massa, you're mamma, hallelujah! Yes, get a mass, yea, muscle, yes, you're a master, get a master. Let the heathens rage and let the people imagine vain things against the Lord and his anointed.
SPEAKER_03But God is gonna do it for us. God is blessing us and God is gonna help us. Somebody give the Lord a hand and clap of praise.
SPEAKER_02Somebody say hallelujah! Somebody say glory. God gonna help us.
SPEAKER_03Keep on building your families. Keep on building your visions. Keep on building your business. And keep on building the ministry. God's gonna cause us to prosper. Let's lift our hands to the Lord.
