I WILL by Pastor Claude Whittaker (LIVE SERMON) recorded at Deeper Life Ministries located in Salisbury Maryland
And before you take your seat, tell somebody, I will. I will. I will. I will. I will. You gotta take it personally. I will. Yes. Yes. This is about you. I will. This ain't about the person sitting next to you. It's about you. I will. I will. I will. I will. You're gonna have to look to you today. Don't look to the left. Don't look to the right. This is the right. I will. I will I will. I will. Verbally. I will. Oh my God. I verbally raise it. I will. I will. I will. I will lift him up. I will lift him up. O King, and I will bless thy name forever and ever. I will. I will bless your name. Hallelujah. I don't have nothing to do about nobody else, but I will. I need somebody to say, I will. I will bless your name. Yes, I will. You've been too good to me. Yes, I will. I will take authority over myself and I will. I will. I will bless you, oh God. I will bless you, my king. Yes, this is a personal relationship. I will tell somebody I will. I will. I will. I feel that in the atmosphere. I will. I will. Forever. Bless your name. Forever. And he says, every day I will. I will. Er day. Some of y'all, Erde. Every day I will make a commitment to give glory to my king. Every day. This thing here is not based upon my circumstance or my situation. It's not based upon how I feel. It's not based upon what I'm going through. But I will every day give glory to God. Hallelujah. Now, for some of you, I'm not giving God today what's due unto him. But you have a chance to start right now. I will bless the Lord. I will lift him up on high. I will praise his holy name. I will thank God for his goodness. I will give God honor. I will give God glory. I will lift him up. Hallelujah. The Lord said, if I be lifted up from the earth, I'll draw all men unto me. I will. It's my job to give God glory. It's my job to bless him. I will. I will. Hallelujah. Don't you look around and wait for nobody else to do it. I will. I will. This is what I'm gonna do. Don't have nothing to do with you, but this is what I'm gonna do. Because he's been too good to me. I will. Somebody say, I will. I will. Not based upon what how much money I got in my wallet. Not based upon what somebody else did or said to me. For what they did and said to you is trying to stop you from giving God glory, trying to stop you from blessing the Lord. Yes, in the midst of the problem, in the midst of the battle, I will. Yes. In the midst of it all, I will. In the midst of it all, I will. Yes. Oh, yes, I will bless the Lord. I will lift him up. Hallelujah. Seem like me, somebody wants to lift up the Lord. Uh sister Risa, seem like me, you want to lift up the Lord, sister Beverly, Sister Kaya, Amanda. Y'all want to bless the Lord. Yes, this is your praise. Hallelujah. No devil gonna take my praise. I will. Yes, this is I will. I will. Yes, I will bring him down. Hallelujah. Oh, if the Lord will rip the heavens and come on down. Oh God, hallelujah! I will bring him down. He inhabits the praises of his people. I will bring him down. I will bring them down to me. Hallelujah. I will. I will. Well, you don't understand, Pastor. You don't know what I'm going through, but I will. Every day I will. My strength comes from God. For the joy of the Lord is my strength. Hallelujah. Yes, I will. I will. Yes, hallelujah. I will. In the good times, in the bad times, in the difficult times, in the confused state of time, I will. I will lift him up. I will exalt the Lord. I will. When it seems like things are too heavy for me, I will bless his name. I will. Hallelujah. Oh, do me a favor, slap somebody high five and say, I will. I will. Yeah, you like you want to slap me high five. Oh, yes, I will. I will. Yes, glory to God. I felt that right there. Hallelujah. I will. I will. I will. I will bless his holy name. I will. I will. I will. Tell somebody I will. Yes, when things seem like they're too hard. When the devil seems like he's trying to run over me. I will. I will. I will. If you feel like somebody saying I won't, you might want to move. Yes, I will. Hallelujah. Yes. Tell your daughter in your belly, I will. She will. We will. Give God glory. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yes. Hallelujah. Only on verse number two. I will. I got eight more to go. I will. Every day will I bless thee. And I will praise thy name forever. Yeah, the devil can't stop me blessing the name of the Lord. He can attack my body, and I'll still say, Jesus. I need you. Oh, he can come after me. I'll still say, Jesus. Oh, God, he can attack my mind. Jesus, I'll bless your name. He can try to put out my fire, but I know how to stir up the fire. Stir up the gift that lies within me. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_00I will.
SPEAKER_01I buried my father. I buried my mother. But I blessed the name of the Lord. Hallelujah. Yes, hallelujah. I had folk lie on me. I had folk, amen, tell untruths on me. I had folk talk about me, but I will. God will destroy your enemies. I will bless his holy name. I will. I will. Yes, I will. It's not based upon what you're going through. God is much greater than what you're going through. He's not only the God of the valley, He's the God of the mountain. Yes, it's easy to bless him while you're on the mountain. But will you bless him when you're going through the valley?
SPEAKER_00I will.
SPEAKER_01I will. Glory. Yes. He says in verse number three. Great is the Lord. How many know he's great? Great is the Lord. And greatly to be praised. Hallelujah. Yes. Where's your praise? Yes, he's greatly to be praised. Yes. And watch this. And his greatness is unsearchable. That's how great God is. It's unsearchable. You're trying to put a great God in a box based upon situations and circumstances. Based upon things that you've done or things done to you. You're trying to put them in a box. But God is not in a box. His greatness is unsearchable. Which means, amen, that his greatness is so great you can't define how great that he is. There's a way that God, nothing that God can't bring you out of. There's nothing that God can't do. When you know that God is great and greatly to be praised, no matter what you're going through, you won't let the devil make you keep your mouth closed. Oh, yeah, he's greatness is unsearchable. Which means he's greater than everything you're going through. Everything you know about, everything you done seen, and everything that's up against you, he's greater. Somebody say he's greater. Do you really believe that he's greater? Do you really know that he's greater? If you really believe that he's greater, somebody give God a great praise. He's greater. The Bible said, What is man but a drop in a bucket? Yes, hallelujah. Yes, God created man. Yes, and then God reminded him that man is made, his frame is made of nothing but dust. There's nothing greater than our God. He deserves all the honor. Well, Pastor, it didn't work for me. Well, God is still great. They told me this. Well, God is still great. God is still on your behalf and on your side. And just when you really know that, when you really know that, then the devil can't stop you from becoming all that God wants you to be. When you anybody really know that a God is more for me, then the whole world is against me. No weapon that is for I heard the Holy Ghost said, no weapon that is formed against you shall be able to prosper. And every tongue that rises up against you, you shall condemn in the judgment. For this is the heritage of the saints of God. Amen. His ways are past finding out. His thoughts are not our thoughts, and his ways are not our ways. So much higher than the heavens and the earth and his thoughts and our thoughts and his ways and our ways. Here's what he says: one nation, one generation shall praise thy works to another. So when you're blessing the Lord, what you're saying to another generation is, I've been through the wilderness, I've been through the storms of life, and this great God that we serve, let me tell you how great that He really is. Hallelujah. One generation appraise the other. So listen to me real good. You got to be careful, amen, how your children or the younger people watch you serve God. Uh, you're listening to me real good. Because the same way they see you, they're gonna react the same way they see you do. But when they see you blessing God in the midst of turmoil, in the midst of pain, in the midst of confusion, they'll do the same thing. Uh in other words, this is a generational praise. Hallelujah. Let the older folks show the young folk how to bless the Lord. Uh, somebody show the younger folk how good God is. Somebody show the younger generation how good God has been to you. Somebody show your children how you're trusting in the living God. Somebody show your babies how great God is. Somebody show this next generation that God is good.
SPEAKER_00Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_01They're watching you, they're watching you. This is a generational praise. It's not conducive to what we got in the shelf or what we got in the bank or what we got. It's just conducive to God being good. Hallelujah. Yes, this generation is watching to see what you'll do. This generation is watching you every day to see where you, the God that you say you serve, are you really trusting in that God? Hallelujah. Yes, this God is good to me. Uh, it's generational. And when I know that it's generational, amen. I'm careful how I carry my praise. Oh, I'm talking to somebody. You ought to right now just lift up the Lord. Hallelujah. What is this generation really got to look forward to? They want to see consistency. They want to see consistency. They want to see you not only talking to talk, but walking to walk. Yes, he's in the talk, but anybody walking in. Yes, I'm talking it and I'm walking in. They want to see consistency. One generation to another. I'm gonna praise his work and declare his mighty act. I'm gonna tell the next generation how good God has been to me. That when we didn't have nothing, God always provided. That he's a healer, that God is a deliverer, that he makes ways out of no ways. Keep your eyes and your heart and your trust in the living God. Because things are gonna get tough, things are gonna get tight. But I know a God that will not fail. Anyone know a God that will not fail?
SPEAKER_00Yes. Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_01What's the next generation gonna do based upon what you're doing? They're watching. Hallelujah. It's ain't just about you. It's about the next generation. Yes. They're watching. They're watching how you talk. They're watching you, throw your hands up. They listen to you saying, I don't know what we're gonna do. They listen to you saying, I don't know how we're gonna make it. This thing is a teachable lesson here. It's a learned behavior, and they learn it from their parents. Amen. Amen. But I know this for a fact. I don't know about you, but I heard Joshua say, As for me in my house, we're gonna serve the Lord. Have I gonna serve the Lord? Me and mine. Hallelujah. We're gonna serve the Lord. He says, I will speak of your glorious honor. And of thy majesty, and of thy wonderful works. I will speak of thy glorious honor. I will talk about how bad that you are. Yes, I will brag on you. My God shall supply all my needs according to his riches and glory. Hallelujah. He's better than a doctor in a surgery room, better than an attorney in a courtroom. I will talk. I will tell somebody I will. I will speak of his glorious honor. I will. I will. I will. I will. I will. I know the devil wants me to keep my mouth shut. But I will. Yeah, the devil trying to shut you up. But I will. Amen. I remember when they let me go on my job, the devil tried to shut me up. But I come to the doors and through my home, praising God. Hallelujah. Yes. He tried to shut me down from giving God glory. But I refuse to let the devil get the glory. Amen. I refuse to let the devil shut up my mouth. Yes, I will bless his name. Hallelujah. Yes. I will. That's five. I wills. In these first six verses. And here is number six. In verse number six. He says, and men shall speak of thy mighty and thy terrible acts. And I will declare thy greatness. I'm not gonna wait on nobody. I will declare. I will bless him. I will praise him. Good God Almighty. I will speak of him and I will declare his greatness. Amen. I will tell somebody I will. I will. And don't you get them get a chance to outdo you? You get up right now and you begin to talk about God's goodness, how God brought you out of something, how God made a way for you, how God's gonna do something again for you, how God's gonna touch your body, how God's gonna give you the victory. Go ahead and give God the glory. I will, I will. I will. Yes, I will, I will. Here come brother Daniel. I will. You can't praise God for me. You might get tired, you might not think like I think, you might not give them all that I would give them, but I will. Somebody say, I will, I will, in the midst of the storm, I will, in the midst of the fire, in the midst of all hell breaking out, in the midst of the pain, in the midst of the attack, I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be in my mouth, my soul shall make a boast in the Lord, the humble shall hear and be glad thereof. Oh, come and magnify the Lord with me. Let us exalt his name together. See, we can't go to us together until we first get to I will. Now, when everybody's at I Will. That we can exalt his name together. So he moves from I will to us. But before you can get to us, you've got to learn the I will. Who knows about I will today? Who will? I will. Who will? I will. Who will? I will. Who will? I will. Who will? You rate that with me. I will. Who will? I will. Who will? I will. Who will? I will. Who will? I will. Who will? I will. I will bless the Lord.
unknownI will bless the Lord.
SPEAKER_01Oh, somebody bless the Lord. Somebody bless the Lord. I will. I will. And you can't stop me. You can't stop me. Because it's in his will that I bless him. You can't stop me. The devil can't stop me. The devil don't like this right now. But he can't stop me. Who can let the devil stop you? Somebody shout out to God with the voice of triumph. Shout out to God with the voice of praise. This thing is personal. I will. Well, you know, you didn't dive every I. You didn't cross every T. The devil trying to drag you down. He trying to bind you up. Yes, I might have tripped up, but I will get up and bless the Lord. Hallelujah. I will, amen, give God honor. I will praise his holy name. I will. I will. I will. Amen. Hallelujah. I'm working up a sweat here. Amen. I will. Bless His holy name. Amen. You know. And uh or praise for you. Or worship. Let me give me a give me longer. But look at you now. And you know where you come from and where you've been, and how God has touched your life, and uh the devil trying to beat you up and trying to stop you, and you know all the transitional periods of your life, and how God, some parents you were down, and sometimes you were up, and and the devil was trying to step on you when you were down, and you didn't understand everything, but you said I will. And the devil attacked your body, and the devil tried to get you on your job, and the devil tried to turn you down, but uh you said, but I will. And uh you put your will with his will, and you begin to bless the Lord, and and uh you know what God brought you from, and y'all go ahead and I will bless him. Y'all show them how to bless the Lord. Yes, I will bless the Lord at all times. I will uh tell him I will, tell him I will, tell him don't look at me. I will give him glory right now. I will bless his name, for he has been good to me. Somebody go ahead and bless the Lord, yes. Now, what about you? Will you? Will you will you?
SPEAKER_00I will.
SPEAKER_01I will bless him. So I will give him glory. I will magnify my God. I will, hallelujah. Thank him, hallelujah. Somebody told the Lord, thank you. Somebody told the Lord, thank you. You did not give up on me, thank you. Thank you, Lord, hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, you came with the Father. Yes, I will now I will becomes we will, but until you can get the I will, you can't become the we will or let us. Okay. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I got about five more minutes. Amen. Amen. Go ahead. Y'all are going in blessing. I'm almost finished. I will declare thy greatness. Thou shalt abundantly utter the memory of thy goodness, and thou shalt sing of thy righteousness. He says in verse number eight, brother Mike, the Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and great of mercy. So I will bless him. The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord, and the saints, the saints, the saints shall bless thee. Oh God, hallelujah! Where the saints at in here today? Oh, you ought to begin to bless the Lord, the sanctified ones, the called-out ones, the ones that say they've been born again. You ought to bless his holy name. Hallelujah. Where the saints at today? Where are the saints at? That says God has given me his power. You have to bless his name. Yes. He's full of mercy. Gracious and compassion. Slow to anger, full of mercy. So I will bless his holy name. I will. I will. Bless his holy name. Come on up here, Sister Chanel. Come on up here and bless the Lord. Come on, Manda. Come on up here and where the saints at? Where the saints of the Lord at? Come on up here and bless his name. Don't let the devil keep you in your seat. Come on up here and bless the Lord. Don't let the devil keep you quiet. Come on up here and bless the Lord. I will. I will. We ain't got no more saints in here than that. Where the born-again believers at? Come on, Tasha, bless the Lord. Come on, Steve and your family. Bless the Lord. Come on, Anna Paula. Let the devil take your praise. I will. I will. Tell the devil I will. I will. He's been good to me. He's been a faithful God. Oh my life. I remember. I remember. Oh my god. I love people. The only thing that I left. I know what it's about to be. I know what it's about to have a bit of a whip. I will. I will be able to get it. I will.
